Audi TT 225 ECU Upgrade
 Our 225 HP TT software comes as a 1.4 bar configuration and produces 262 horsepower and 270 ft. lbs respectively.
Our software is designed to operate within the turbochargers' efficiency range whilst producing huge increase in low end torque, improved throttle response and a much smoother, more powerful top end. Unlike other "chip tuning companies", we do not max out the boost pressure sensor in order to boost spike and give high initial torque readings. Although this maybe good for marketing purposes, it not only creates surge during acceleration at low RPM, but also reduces the life expectancy of the turbocharger considerably.
 The EMCS is operated via the cruise control stalk and uses the engine check light on the instrument cluster to identify program changes. When fitted with the security option you can lock the ECU into a desired program and no one can operate the EMCS without your dedicated pin number. If you do not have or wish to have cruise control, then we can supply just the one performance program. For more info see general EMCS spec sheet.
Cruise Control (Fitted or Not!)
If your car does not have cruise control fitted as standard, then we can offer cruise control at £175.00+vat fully installed and operational when purchased with EMCS. This is the factory cruise control with a new replacement indicator stalk with cruise buttons and not a cheap after market system!
There are several options for the chip upgrade. First, you can visit us & we will carry out the necessary work on your ECU while you wait. The second option is to send the ECU to us and we will make the modifications and return post the ECU. The ECU is typically shipped back the same day that we receive it.
The third option is to purchase the chip with a new spare ECU. This will allow you to swap the stock engine computer back in when getting the car serviced. The spare ECU's that we sell are brand new factory units, just as if you walked into the dealership to purchase one. You will also have to send in your original ECU for us to be able to clone the immobilizer code and write it to the new ECU. Because of this, there are no refunds on spare ECU's, only on the APR software.
All APR chip upgrades use encryption, which serve several purposes. First, it keeps prying eyes out of our software and prevents lesser companies from copying the chip and degrading the product. Secondly, the encryption prevents the dealer from flash programming the ECU. Also, all APR software is undetectable to a dealers VAG diagnostic tool.

EMCS
EMCS is available for this car. EMCS is APR's revolutionary patented Enhanced Modular Chipping System. EMCS is an industry leading technology that brings many new features to the automotive enthusiast. EMCS technology was developed exclusively by Audi Performance & Racing, LLC and demonstrates APR’s continued commitment to lead the industry with the most technologically advanced products available.
EMCS consists of three important parts that work together as a cohesive unit: the EMCS module (which is soldered to the engine computer board), the EMCS on-board software (the software that is on the module), and the support software that is used to program and reprogram the module.
APR’s EMCS is a truly modular system that allows for future enhancements and features to be added as they are developed without the need for additional hardware. EMCS makes the following advanced features possible:
FlipSwitch
Enables you to swap between two or more engine programs on-the-fly using the cruise control stalk (cruise control can be added if not on your vehicle. All cars have stock and standard chipped program versions available. Valet, race-gas, and other specialty programs are available for some models.
Fault Code Erase/Throttle Body Alignment (FCE/TBA)
Fault Code Erase allows you to erase and reset engine related trouble codes without having to use a specialty tool. Throttle Body Alignment allows you to manually perform throttle-body adaptation.
Security Lockout
Prevents unauthorized personnel from accessing EMCS functions. The user may select any 1 to 4 digit security code. The security code is entered using the cruise control buttons.
User Reprogramming and Reconfiguration
Gives the user the ability to reprogram their ECU with the latest software updates and to reconfigure their ECU for different preferences or to function with different hardware. This function requires the optional programming adaptor.
